Wendy, My 4th grader is a very responsible girl who loves her dad but with a divorce I have been unable to get the mother to allow me to call my daughters. I see my two girls regularly but when they are in her custody (65% of the time) I can’t contact them and this has gone on for almost 2 years. A cell phone would be the ultimate solution, but the mother points to an article you wrote in the NY Times that says you think 12 an appropriate age. Your video suggests 10 may be appropriate for some kids. Can you help me please. John
