Hallelujah! I must have seen 100s of teens this year who came in because of the new TdaP requirement passed by the California legislature for all kids entering 7th to 12th grade. In all if them, a new medical problem was identified or they were behind on other immunizations (Menactra, VZV 2, HPV). In subsequent years, all kids entering 7th grade will need TdaP. The best thing that other state legislatures can do for the health of teens is to pass similar legislation because it gets teens into the office for checkups!
